How to get here?
The main airport in Costa Rica is Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). From here you can take international flights to and from Costa Rica.
San José is well connected with the rest of Costa Rica so you will have no problem travelling here as it is well connected via bus routes. Even if you don’t want to travel to San José, you will end up at least transiting through here. To get from the east to the west coast or vice versa you will have to transit buses here.
The main bus station is Terminal 7-10, which is where you can travel to Monteverde, La Fortuna and Jacó. If you wish to travel to the Orosi Valley then either head to Lumaca or Transtusa bus station.
