You can look at the train times ahead of your journey and also book the train Here. You’ll need to go in person to the train station and show a receipt you will get via email to receive a paper ticket. Be sure to do this more than 10 minutes before the departure of the train and note down the time of your train that you have booked as the receipt will not say the time and neither will the ticket. Or you could simply just book your ticket in person at the train station.
Buses:
Buses are running between Sarajevo and Mostar but they do not run every day and there may only be one running. They are a cheap way to travel but if the timings don’t suit you then look at the train times as these are a lot more frequent.
Information and booking online are limited for buses in Bosnia so perhaps travelling by bus isn’t the most reliable way if you have a short time or like to plan your journey and how you will get from A to B.
You can book bus tickets using Omio so use this link to book.
Taxi:
There are plenty of taxis in big cities like Sarajevo and Mostar. They often have a sheet of prices in Sarajevo that are fixed to pay which are reasonable but if you take one of the red metered taxis then this will be a cheaper option as long as there isn’t too much traffic. You will have to pay in cash so be sure to have some change on you.
